About me
Hi, I’m Jazmyn!
I’m a junior primary teacher with five years of classroom experience and the creator behind Teaching with Jaz.
I know first hand how rewarding teaching can be, but also how overwhelming it can feel. Between planning, creating resources and managing the never-ending to-do list, there’s always something to do!
What started as a creative outlet and a way to share resources I was making for my own classroom has grown into Teaching with Jaz — a space where I get to combine my love of teaching, creativity and design.
My goal is simple: to create purposeful, practical and beautiful resources that save teachers time, make classroom life a little easier and help create calm, cohesive classrooms where both teachers and students can thrive.
A little more about me
I’ve always had a creative side, with a love for art, music and all things design. Before becoming a teacher, I spent five years working as a makeup artist while studying at university. I also have a passion for music and I spent my years throughout university signing and performing at gigs.
Creativity has always been something I’ve loved, and now I get to bring that passion into Teaching with Jaz!
